A counselling session is scheduled to last 1 hour.
There are times that a client may request a longer session of 75 minutes and this can be arranged prior to the session time.
Fees are $120.00 per session hour, 75 minute sessions and couple/family sessions are $140.00. (*An initial 3 Session Package is $300.00 and can be used for individual counselling)
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card through Squareup or by Etransfer and is made prior to the appointment.
As a Registered Social Worker I am authorized as a ‘medical practitioner’ under the Income Tax Act for the purpose of claiming medical expenses on income tax returns. There are a number of extended medical plans that cover counselling provided by a MSW, RSW designation.
Prior to a first session I request that a Client Information Form be completed as well as please read and sign my Welcome form. These forms can be emailed back to me.
